Let it snow!

“You probably got a dozen of these already, but here’s a photo I took of the snow.” The Times received quite a few emails with that same basic message last week, but we sure don’t blame anyone for being excited about Fountain Hills’ unexpected coating of fresh powder. And while we may only be able to run a fraction of the photos that we received, we’re plenty happy to receive them and share even more of them in an online gallery at fhtimes.com

In this week’s issue, you’ll see some weather shots from the Verde communities, a picture or two demonstrating how the snow impacted the Great Fair, and a handful of pictures on Spouts provided by our own staff, as well as several from members of the community. We’re trying to run a nice mix in print but, again, you can see even more of the awe-inspiring winter weather by dropping by our website.

It’s been fun seeing how much our readers have enjoyed the historical weather, as well as how many folks came from out of town just to enjoy the kind of flurry you’d usually have to drive much further north to experience. It’s the kind of thing we’ll remember for years to come and just another fun “this day in history” to remember for Fountain Hills.
