The Fountain Hills Branch Library plans to do its part for Make a Difference Day by creating blankets in the Blanket Bee for Project Linus, Saturday, Oct. 24, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be held in the library’s Reading Lounge.
Volunteers of all ages will create tie fleece blankets, crochet edge fleece blankets, knit blocks and coloring quilt blocks for children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need. All finished products will be donated to Project Linus.
Linus will make a guest appearance sometime during the three-hour hour event.
