Lighting upgrade for Fountain Hills Community Center

Council approves on 6-1 vote

Fountain Hills Town Council has approved a cooperative purchase agreement with Voss Lighting to install upgrades to the lighting fixtures in the Community Center.

The agreement is for $120,000.

Staff noted that during 2021 there was an extensive renovation to the interior of the building. It was planned as a multi-year project with the lighting portion deferred. Town Engineer David Janover told the council that the building is going on 25 years old, and it is a heavily used facility. He said the time has come to upgrade the lighting.
