Terri Treibler was sound asleep; she is an early riser to get to work at her business, Sun Baked Food 4 the Soul in Fountain Hills.
It wasn’t late, maybe about 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, when a loud clap of thunder roused her from bed. She was stunned by the rude awakening and somewhat disoriented in the darkness. She made her way out of her bedroom into the living room and never expected what she would find there.
Broken glass and other debris were scattered around inside the house. Large splinters of wood launched through the window into the living area were obstacles to navigate around.
