Linda Lee Wennerstrom Baumgardner

Linda Lee Wennerstrom Baumgardner, 72, died peacefully Aug. 1, 2015.

Linda was born on Oct. 13, 1942 in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, the daughter of Erling and Marguerite Wennerstrom.

Beloved wife for 48 years to Gary; a devoted mother to daughter Stacy Martin (husband, Greg) and son Michael Baumgardner (wife, Gretchen). Linda was an adored and cherished “Nana” to Garrett (8), Olivia (7) and Ella (5). Also survived by her beloved sisters Jane Mrsnik and Karen Nelson, and was a loving aunt to 11 nieces and nephews and their children.

Linda graduated Mayfield High School in 1960 where she was lead majorette and part of the National Honor Society. After graduating from Saint Luke’s School of Nursing, she enjoyed her career as a registered nurse for many years.

Linda embraced being involved in her community as president of the Fairfield PTA, and board member of the Travis Pointe Country Club, Ann Arbor, Mich. Her zeal for style and passion for design lead her to open her own interior design business.

Linda and Gary retired to Rio Verde, Ariz. in 2004 where she resided until her passing. Our dear Linda loved to entertain. Her family and friends were her affection and delight. Her beauty, style, warmth and wisdom will be greatly missed.

Services to be held in Phoenix on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m. at The Arizona Biltmore Aztec Room.
