Fountain Hills’ Little Caesars restaurant (16605 E. Palisades) and VFW Post 7507 are teaming up today, Wednesday, March 23, to raise funds for the Post.

Proceeds from the day will be dedicated to help the completion of the build-out and improvements of the Post’s new Post Home and Veterans Community and Resource Center.

Little Caesars has always been an involved partner, giving back to the community through fundraisers for organizations, especially those related to the schools.

For every pizza bought during business hours today, Little Caesars Pizza will donate $1 to the VFW. No coupons are needed, no need to mention the VFW. Just order one or more pizzas at the regular price, then enjoy your meal without having to cook and $1 per pizza will go to the VFW. This is a great opportunity to eat out at standard prices while contributing to VFW Post 7507 as it completes its new Post Home and Veterans Community Center.

VFW Post Commander, Carl Krawczyk, said “We (VFW) thank Audrie Ouellette, the managers and staff of Little Caesars for this special opportunity and unique way to raise funds so that we can complete the build-out of our new Post building. We look forward to inviting the entire Fountain Hills community to a ribbon cutting and open house in the not-too-distant future.”

MidFirst Bank’s Coin Truck was onsite at the St. Pat’s at the Fountain Festival.” A total of $3,253.63 was collected and matched, then donated to the VFW. Other beneficiaries from the collection include veterans and local charities as determined by Fountain Events, Inc.

Veterans interested in joining or determining eligibility to join the VFW can get additional information by contacting the Post's membership chairman, Boe James at 480-588-7612 or rbjames@infionline.net, by calling the Post at 480-836-5520, or by email to VFW7507@yahoo.com.
