Fountain Hills resident, historian, collector and author, Dr. William Wolf, has dedicated the last 50 years collecting and writing about the countless names and aircraft that took part in the war of his childhood.
Now, the time has come for him to donate his WWII collection of books, model planes and tanks, Big Boy Barbies, rare autographed lithographs and more.
Wolf is donating his entire collection to the National Museum of WWII Aviation in Colorado Springs, Colo., which is dedicating a portion of its new museum library to Wolf’s signature collection.
