Local restaurants prepare for Oktoberfest ’24 in Fountain Hills

Oka Sushi and Batchelor’s Pad celebrate in style

Oktoberfest in Fountain Hills is set for Sept. 27-28, but two local restaurants are kicking off the festivities early, featuring traditional and German-inspired food, entertainment and fun for the community.

Beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, Batchelor’s Pad BBQ will celebrate Oktoberfest in the Hills with homemade schnitzel, jaegerschnitzel, brats, sauerkraut and currywurst.

Batchelor’s Pad has become known locally for its sauerkraut - a special recipe that ferments for four weeks prior to serving, allowing a deep, complex flavor to mature.
