Lorenz: Our school district needs this investment to continue to be great
As a fiscal conservative and a 36-plus year corporate employee of Motorola Solutions, I have learned important things about investments.
It has been an honor to serve with a group of over 40 local citizens leading the effort to communicate why the 2023 school bond is the correct investment for our students, schools and community. Our local school district, while not a perfect organization, is fiscally responsible and balances their budget. Our school district needs this school bond to have the ability to invest in security, safety, old equipment replacement, energy efficiency, have an investment account available for critical equipment problems, and to compete in the Arizona school choice arena.

Our schools have great leaders, led by the School Board and Dr. J and his new team. They have addressed all old issues from the pandemic and a previous superintendent. This school bond, if 100% implemented right after approval by the voters, will still result in significantly lower school taxes than Scottsdale and Mesa School Districts.
Arizona is still in the bottom five states for education investment, our district needs this investment to continue to be the great school district that it is. All of the details to understand the investment facts are located at fountainhillsschools.org and onefh.org. The Chamber of Commerce Board unanimously supports this investment, the local realty association supports this investment and I encourage your support of this investment. Thank you for your consideration.
