Loretta Bayne

Loretta M. Bayne was the beloved mother of Constance L. Weber and Kathryn A. L. Bayne; cherished grandmother of Megan A. Weber; and treasured mother-in-law of Dennis J. Weber and Mark C. Haines.

She was married to Richard H. Bayne for 37 years.

Lorie, as she was known, born in Canada, graduated with her RN degree from the Hotel Dieu Hospital and earned her B.S. degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. She nursed at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. almost 20 years and also did private duty nursing.

She was very involved in National Charity League of Los Angeles and was a 50+ member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She also volunteered at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale for 13 years as well as the Friends of the Library in Fountain Hills.

Lorie was an active bridge player whose life was enriched by her many friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd.
