Regarding the lights in the park. Recently some residents presented a complaint to Town Council about the park lights, saying no one was walking around the park and people were saying they didn’t like them. Well, as a resident that walks the park at night, there are plenty of people out there walking and liking the lights.
There are families and people with their dogs and a lot of single people. Everyone I have talked to likes the lights. A park should be welcoming to people at all times of the day.
By the way, you can see all the stars from any part of the park. I look up to the sky from several locations.

Obviously these people that complained do not wish to walk at night and that is their prerogative, but there are a lot of us that do and should not be deprived of that. The lights are aimed at the ground and just light up the sidewalk and are beautiful.
Some relatives recently came to our house at night and had not seen the lights before and they said it was so beautiful and gave such a welcoming, warm feeling coming into town. Before it was so dark they found it eerie.
