Pastor Robyn Bezanson, associate pastor at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, started the ministry for female inmates upon their release from prison.
Last year she started transporting newly released women to a halfway house.
“Inmates are released from prison with no money and no additional clothing,” she said.
The halfway house provides only a mattress and no bedding. No food is provided, either.
Her vision is to open a Christian halfway house for women within walking distance of the Glendale church.
