Most Fountain Hills entrances off Shea Blvd. are beautiful. Some even have water features to go with the Fountain Hills theme. The Saguaro entrance is bad enough with McDonald’s greeting visitors, but a three-story senior care center off Trevino and Saguaro will really turn them off.
A zoning change is currently being considered. The PAD will give the developer the right to go to 50-foot heights rather than the 24 feet that is allowed now.
I live next door. I believe the zoning change permitting that tall of a building would cause a significant decrease in the value of my property. I think the town would be liable for my, and my neighbors’, loss.

Trevino is a congested, dangerous intersection in Fountain Hills. The senior care facility will add 180 beds and 75 employees. Where are they all going to go? Trevino will be a madhouse!
