After reading the article about Ms. Bellenir being upset that Mr. Magazine told her to stop posting lies and innuendo about him on Facebook, it’s obvious why Mr. Magazine was elected to the Town Council the first time he ran and Ms. Bellenir has been defeated multiple times. The public has heard her bizarre rants about too many topics.

If Ms. Bellenir wished to get clarification on Mr. Magazine’s votes or positions, why wouldn’t she email or call him directly? Why go to Facebook and post false information? Did she think she could get away with it and he wouldn't notice?

I have disagreed with Mr. Magazine on budget and tax issues and we have communicated directly. He didn’t change my mind and I doubt I changed his, but we exchanged info as adults. If Ms. Bellenir wouldn’t have posted lies about his support of the Food Bank, he wouldn’t have had to ask her to stop.

I would assume his lack of involvement in her hysterical follow-up was because he thought it was too unbelievable to dignify by commenting on it. Ms. Bellinir has wasted the Council’s time and I assume her whole process also took tax-payer money.

Ms. Bellenir needs to put on her big girl pants and quit acting like a drama queen because she was confronted with her false Facebook postings. She could have simply said, “I’m sorry I was misinformed. Thank you for calling me and clarifying your position.” End of discussion. If she is too fragile to have an adult discussion, she should refrain from posting nonsense on Facebook.
