Maintenance

The Fountain Hills Times has been providing important coverage of infrastructure replacement needs and inadequate town revenues to meet those needs.

I thought of this issue when reading the recent story headlined, “SRP replacing 44 poles.” The story explained that the project would upgrade aging hardware initially installed decades ago. To quote, “The upgrade will help ensure the area will be able to handle future growth and ensure reliability.”

Precisely the same issue and goals are involved in the need to provide adequate revenue for maintenance of town roads and other infrastructure
