At VBS 2017, kids experienced God’s Word in surprising and unforgettable ways, according to organizers. Each day, leaders reinforced one simple Bible truth—which made it easy for kids to remember and apply to real life. Kids trekked through field-tested activity stations with their VBS Crews, and every station was designed to reinforce the daily Bible Point in a hands-on, interactive way that kept everyone engaged.

While embarking on an icy expedition kids were shown how to overcome obstacles with God’s awesome power. The kids became anchored in rock-solid Bible truths that will help guide them through life’s challenges in the future.

Organizers said Maker Fun Factory was tons of fun and kids walked away with a rock-solid faith that they can rely on God when life gets tough. The participants received VBS T-Shirts and music CDs to take home and share with family and friends in order to keep that VBS Adventure ongoing throughout the rest of their summer.

Many adults donated their time and energies in making sure this event was a fun, creative and action-packed VBS all week long. Games, lessons, videos, songs, stories and ways to express themselves through drawing, creating with snacks, dancing and skits kept everyone busy, growing and learning together each and every day. FHPC is grateful to many for the success and positive enthusiasm of this wonderful and enriching event this year.
