According to prosecutors with Maricopa County, Nicholas Linsk pleaded guilty of leaving the scene of a fatal injury accident. He is to be sentenced Sept. 6.
On Oct. 14, 2012 Dr. Marwan Maalouf of Scottsdale was riding his bicycle along Shea Boulevard when he was struck near Palisades Boulevard.
A witness observed the vehicle stop further west along Shea in Scottsdale and was suspicious as the driver was apparently inspecting for damage.
The witness reported the information to the Sheriff’s Office, which led to Linsk’s arrest.
Linsk had been employed at the Target store in Fountain Hills and was leaving work at the time of the accident.
