At approximately 8:45 Wednesday morning, Fountain Hills Rural/Metro Fire Department responded to call where a man working on the roof of a church suffered a fall injury that left him incapacitated.
He was located on a flat section of the roof about 20 feet above ground level. Fire crews stabilized and treated the patient, and then removed him from the roof using the ladder truck.

Man working on roof injured in fall

At approximately 8:45 Wednesday morning, Fountain Hills Rural/Metro Fire Department responded to call where a man working on the roof of a church suffered a fall injury that left him incapacitated.
He was located on a flat section of the roof about 20 feet above ground level. Fire crews stabilized and treated the patient, and then removed him from the roof using the ladder truck.
The patient was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
Fort McDowell Fire Department assisted by providing coverage in Fountain Hills while all fire personnel were engaged in this rescue.
