Thank you to the members of the Citizens4Saguaro Steering Committee. It was my honor to serve as the chair, but the real work was done by the committee members.

Every single member did as much as they could to help get the message out. Their enthusiasm was contagious.
It all started as so many good things in our community do with Jerry Miles, who served as our treasurer. Jerry started the committee rolling and recruited me. Jean Linzer served as our secretary.
The other members who gave so generously of their time were Boyce Baldwin, Joe Bill, John Cutillo, Nick DePorter, Walt Dunne, Bruce Hansen, David Long, Bill Myhr, Wally Nichols, Mike O’Connor, Nancy Ordowski, Barbara Patterson-Whitehead, Jay Schlum, Bobbie Schmitz, Debbie Skehen, Paul Smith and Shawn White.
The committee was a politically diverse group, but we proved that in Fountain Hills persons of good will can work together on a project for the good of our community – even one that involves a tax increase!
Again, to the committee members, thank you for your outstanding efforts.
