Margaret Hubbard Taber

Margaret Hubbard Taber, 95, passed away to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017.

Margaret was born in Chicago, Ill. on Feb. 25, 1922, to Marjory and Major (ret.) Henry V.S. Hubbard. As a young girl the family moved to Sherman Oaks, Calif. Margaret graduated from Van Nuys High School. She worked for 42 years with the telephone company where she met her husband (of nearly 59 years) Marion Taber.

Margaret and Marion lived in Woodland Hills, Calif. until moving to Fountain Hills, in 2000, and Scottsdale in 2015.

Margaret was a member of Telephone Pioneers, and PEO. She has always been interested in Native American culture. She and Marion loved to travel.

Margaret’s parents and brother, William Hubbard, predeceased her. Margaret is survived by her husband, Marion, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

There will be no local service, and interment will be in California. All who knew Margaret are invited to rejoice with us in her life and wonderful memories.
