Marilyn J. Carson

Marilyn J. Carson passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 14, 2016 at her home on Lookout Ledge in Fountain Hills. Her husband of 37 years, Larry, held her closely in his arms as she peacefully walked into God’s Kingdom.

Born in Kansas City, Mo. on Oct. 21, 1952, she held a 17-year career as a research analyst at Hallmark Cards, Inc. corporate headquarters in Kansas City.

Marilyn and her husband moved to Arizona on March 1, 1995. She loved her little dog “KC” and developed many friendships with people who found inspiration in her sparkling personality and sharp wit.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, at Messinger Mortuary in Fountain Hills. In lieu of flowers, she asked that friends make a donation in her honor to a favorite charitable organization.
