Mary Louise Zicarelli

Mary Louise Zicarelli passed away at the age of 89 on July 2, 2014 in Phoenix.

Mary was an active supporter of many community organizations and causes including Friends of the Orphans, Sunshine Acres, the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum (Fountain Hills), the Courage Center (Minneapolis), PEO, Mayo Clinic Arizona and the Phoenix Symphony.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert, in 2001; her parents, Leonard and Lydia (Hildebrandt) Reinke, and brother, David Reinke. She is survived by her sons, John of Scottsdale, James (Jan) of Tucson, Thomas (Rebecca) of Bethel, Maine, and David (Virginia) of Santa Cruz, Calif.; grandchildren, Robin, Greg, Jeff (Jackie), Justin, Joseph, Daniel, Bruno and Lucy; and brothers, Karl, Robert, and Donald Reinke.

Mary was the oldest of five children, born and raised in Gillett, Wis. She lived in Kenosha, Wis. and Evanston, Ill. until 1961, when the family moved to Minneapolis.

Mary and Robert moved to Rio Verde in 1986, where they were active members of the Community Church of the Verdes, serving in many leadership capacities. A memorial service will be held at the church at a time to be announced later.

Memorials may be given to the Community Church of the Verdes, Courage Center, or the Phoenix Symphony.
