Ginny Dickey’s column here last week was great progressive theater. We had the customary crocodile tears over the “disrupted and distressed…educational system” and “racial insensitivity,” both of which I’m certain have damaged children for their entire lifetimes, perhaps even longer.
C’mon, Ginny, just be honest about it: You just want Sheriff Joe Arpaio defeated. It’s nothing more than that. In that, you are a credit to your political leanings. “Progressives,” as we’ve seen, have no respect for our elections and seek to overturn their results if their vote rigging didn’t yield the result they initially sought, just as their judges overturn or otherwise block laws and initiatives legally passed by American citizens in other areas of the country.

Her column ended by saying “Some seek to define Fountain Hills in a narrow way; anyone who veers outside their world view should be ‘embarrassed.’ Fear rules that world and we don’t all share that outlook.”
Ginny, hysteria is one’s own business, and if one chooses to be hysterical without cause or to use imagined “sensitivity” as a control measure, that’s a personal choice.
A world ruled by fear, however, in real terms, is a world where progressive jurists tell us that the progressive president may incinerate citizens using drones without due process of law. That’s real. That’s a world ruled by fear, Ginny. That’s what ought to concern you, not Sheriff Joe.
