Matthew Dylan Gilmore, 28, of Lake Ozark, Mo. passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Fountain Hills. Matthew was born on Feb. 13, 1991 in Missouri; a son of Rocky and Patty (Boicourt) Gilmore. He was engaged to the love of his life, Eleni Loisi, and also a proud father of Skylar Gilmore.

Matt attended school in Osage Beach. He was currently working as a bartender at Beavers at the Dam, where he met numerous friends. Matt was a one-of-a-kind father to Skylar, there was nothing he loved doing more than making memories with him.

Adventure was his life, he was always outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature. He loved camping, hiking and arrowhead hunting. He was very proud of his arrowhead collection. He was a master whittler and could make beauty out of anything.

He is survived by his parents, Rocky and Patty Gilmore; fiancé: Eleni Loisi and her parents, Guy and Anna Loisi; son, Skylar Gilmore; brothers, Brad Dunkeson, Brandon Rodriguez, Garrett Rodriguez, Wren Rodriguez and Ryan Henderson (Sarah); sister, Julie Hunter; aunts, Lynne Henderson, Lisa Walker, Joyce Landon (Russell), Kara Hoyer (Chad); uncles, Danny Boicourt, Billy Boicourt (Mary) and Kevin McGlathery (Andora); lifelong friends including Eric Knudsen and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Matthew was preceded in death by his and Eleni’s unborn baby. He is also preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Katherine NovoGradac and Fred Gilmore; maternal grandparents, Arvel and Mary Boicourt; brother, Clayton Dunkeson; cousin, Jimmy Dinkins and two lifelong friends, Evan Wainright and Danny Super.

Friends were received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel, Eldon, Mo. Funeral service was held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel.
