Mayor to address Republicans
Posted
Mayor Linda Kavanagh will be the featured speaker at the Fountain Hills Republican Club meeting Saturday, Jan. 23.
The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center.
Kavanagh will discuss projected plans for the town in the upcoming year as well as reviewing some of the events from the past year.
The social period begins at 8:30 a.m. Complimentary coffee and light breakfast refreshments are available. Guests are welcome; no reservations are required.
Tickets will be available at the meeting for the annual fundraising breakfast, set for Saturday, March 19 at the same location.
Keynote speaker will be AZ GOP Chairman Robert Graham. GOP elected officials and candidates for the primary elections are expected to attend.
The cost of the fully catered breakfast buffet will be $15 for members who pay in advance and $18 for non-members and at the door.
Tickets also may be purchased by contacting Treasurer Nicole Oswald, replady@outlook.com, or by sending a check payable to the Fountain Hills Republican Club, P.O. Box 17814, Fountain Hills 85269.
The annual event is especially popular during an election year, so advance reservations are advised. The Arizona presidential primary election will be held a few days later on March 22. Representatives for presidential candidates will be invited to the breakfast.
The officers and board members invite interested persons to join us in what should be an exciting election year with outstanding speakers at our monthly meetings. Membership information can be obtained at fhillsrepublicanclub.org.
