I have worked with both candidates for an equal four years and have a great deal of respect for both candidates. Here are my feelings and thoughts.
Fountain Hills must look at the current regulations and our dated restrictions on our zoning ordinances, from density to signage restrictions and everything in between. Fountain Hills must look to filling out empty storefronts, as well as bringing new, clean industry into our town. This is called economic development.

My thoughts on the mayoral race.

There needs to be a plan put in place to stop the annual budget shortfall, and this will take a joint effort with every group that wants and needs to be part of the solution. The Town of Fountain Hills needs a mayor to multi-function, both to stop the financial bleeding and systematically/simultaneously move our town forward to the next challenges.
The Town of Fountain Hills needs a mayor with a plan and I support Cecil Yates to do what needs to be done to survive the current and changing times.
