Continuing its longstanding tradition of keeping crisply colored American and Arizona State flags flying at full staff, MCO Realty in Fountain Hills recently hosted a flag-changing ceremony with help from the Fountain Hills Fire Department and the American Legion Post 58 Color Guard.
The ceremonial event was held outside the MCO Realty headquarters at the corner of Shea and Saguaro boulevards.
The flags were changed approximately eight months ago and had begun fraying at the edges due to excessive weather exposure, according to MCO Realty CEO Michael Gant, who says the flags are typically replaced every three to eight months depending on the weather.
