Serving our local community is an honor, and being able to contribute as a School Board member and councilwoman over all these years has been a privilege.
One of the reasons I have had this opportunity is because board and council elections are non-partisan. Residents listen and decide who to vote for on issues, experience and knowledge.
Candidates are not singularly dismissed or accepted due to an R or a D next to their name on a ballot.

It is in that spirit that I am inviting people to come meet Attorney General Candidate Felecia Rotellini and Candidate for Governor Fred DuVal this Saturday, Feb. 15 at the FHUSD Learning Center. We will start with some light refreshments at 9 a.m. and wrap up by 10:30.
Come get to know them… listen to their stories and goals, and tell them what is on your mind. There will be many choices for several races next August and November, and this is an opportunity to share your ideas with the Democratic candidates who will be on those ballots.
Both Fred and Felecia will be wishing to serve all of us, regardless of party affiliation, if any; seeking to represent the people of Arizona as best they can, with energy, intelligence and humility.
