Three incumbents and one challenger were initially set to be on the November ballot for Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board seats. But Robert Wallace announced Aug. 10 that he's withdrawing from the race.
Incumbents Lillian Acker and Bernie Hoenle, as well as recently appointed incumbent board member Fran Murray and Wallace, who would have been the only challenger for the three seats, were all seeking four-year terms in the Nov. 3 election.
