The Memoir Group will meet Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Activity Center.

Those interested will meet from 10 a.m. to noon.

The writing prompt for the December meeting is for attendees to write something relating to the holidays. The approach to the coming season may be cheerful, or it can be darker.

The writing challenge is to decide if there is a specific holiday event in the past that stands out as joyful, tragic, disappointing, life-changing or regrettable.

Stories should be 800 words or fewer. Sharing the memoir writing is optional, but all are welcome to attend a meeting to learn more about it and the group. Current Activity Center membership is required.

The group meets the second Tuesday of each month.
