The Fountain Hills veterans organizations will host the annual Memorial Day Remembrance ceremony on Monday, May 29, at the Veterans Memorial at Fountain Park.
The public is invited to the event at 9 a.m. hosted by the Marine Corps League Detachment 1439, American Legion Post 58, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7507 and AMVETS Post 7.
The keynote speaker will be Barbara Hatch, founder of the Veterans Heritage Project. Additional speakers will include Mike Ferguson, commander, Military Order of the Purple Heart 2560; and Phil Yin, Commandant Marine Corps League Det. 1439. Lou Maegdin, Chaplain of VFW Post 7507, will provide opening and final prayers.

Music will be presented by Music Director Debbie Fisher.
The American Legion Post 58 Color Guard will post and retire the colors.
This event is dedicated to departed comrades from all wars.
