Merci Train project continues in Scottsdale

Questers announce phase one of three completed

The organization focused on preserving, restoring and educating the public about U.S. historical sites, buildings and artifacts has recently completed phase one of three of the Merci Train Project at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale.

Questers Four Peaks #1207 members recently announced the installation of eight storyboards about the Merci Train in Scottsdale. This exhibit celebrates the enduring friendship between America and France through mutual acts of generosity during and after World War II.

Marking the completion of the first of three phases, the continued goal of the Four Peaks Questers #1207 in Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, Scottsdale and the surrounding area is to enhance the Merci Train exhibit at Scottsdale’s McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, including new signage and updated display cases, an update of the museum room in the historical train station and the donation of books to local schools and libraries.
