Last year, The Los An-geles Times boasted that “Latinos now outnumber whites in California.” The article asserted “A young Latino workforce helps the economy by backfilling retiring baby boomers.” Really?

UCLA studies show that Latinos’ high school dropout rates remain steady around 50 percent. Starting in kindergarten, 42 percent Latinos are found in the lowest quar-tile, by eighth grade, only 15 percent are proficient in reading as English is foreign to many.

The New York Times noted another federal sta-tistic: 24 percent of Lati-nas are mothers by age 20. Hispanics now domi-nate the Federal Women, Infants and Children free food program. Illegal im-migrants can get WIC and other welfare programs, plus “right” to stay, due to U.S. born children – an-chor babies!

City Journal wrote “Runaway Illegitimacy with Hispanics is Creating a New U.S. Underclass.” Center for Immigration Studies, July 2015, stated illegal residents in America: 68 percent poor or near poor, 57 percent receive taxpayer funded welfare, 56 percent have no health insurance, and 59 percent less than high school education.

California charges the highest state income tax, sales and gas taxes, while schools and hospitals suf-fer overcrowding, and government services erode, because illegals cost them $25 billion/year! It takes money and dec-ades to expand water re-serves, electrical power grids, and gas pipelines. Their 40 million residents use crumbling freeways designed for a 20 million population.

This crisis originated by politicians seeking votes, without considering the consequences of trans-forming America, by add-ing millions to the popu-lous every year. The past melting pot model of Eng-lish immersion, job avail-ability, assimilation and integration have been re-jected for the open bor-ders and cultural diversi-ty objective.

Obama’s lack of enforc-ing immigration law, al-lowing millions of impov-erished newcomers, im-mediate access to welfare, no assimilation require-ment -- plus no expansion of resources and infra-structure -- will quickly turn America into a third world country.
