For this past Red Ribbon Week, Fountain Hills Middle School hosted the Health Fair. This fair shows students the importance of being healthy and avoiding harmful substances. There were multiple vendors there sponsoring the event and providing information about their own organizations. Vendors included Iron Roots, Kiwanis, DEA, National Guard, Elks Lodge, Boys and Girls Club, Wellness Pharmacy, Healthy Heartbeats, Fountain Hills Fire Department, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition.
“Majority of vendors are from Fountain Hills, and we had some new vendors from outside join this year,” said Program Manager Shawn Uphoff. “We had some new vendors such as Well Pharmacy, who just started their business. We are glad that they joined us.”
