Mike’s Drywall was officially licensed in 1997, but founder Mike Kochen estimates the business has been around for a bit longer than that.
“December of 1997 is when I was licensed and bonded, but before that I was still working,” Kochen said. “It says on the back of the Fountain Hills Times’ business and community directory that we’ve been the number one choice of Fountain Hills and Scottsdale since 1980, so that’s about when I started getting paid to do it.”
Kochen works with a team of about four to six employees at any given time, but his company provides a wide range of services.
