Minority rule

Six judges have ruled that 315 million people must suffer the consequences of government force, to pay the price for a mere 6.4 million persons. We are mandated to buy what we do not want, at a much higher cost, which most cannot afford, for lower quality health insurance with undesired and unnecessary coverages, because words that are written in plain English mean nothing…or in SCOTUS’ world – mean whatever they rule them to mean!

If Obamacare is a federal program, why did the states waste hundreds of millions of our tax dollars to set up their own failed exchanges? Shred the Constitution again for an unconstitutional law.

Then, religious liberties of 97.3 percent of our nation are now at risk of discriminatory lawsuits, fines, loss of business and then “re-education camp” (see the New York ruling), for appeasing the 2.7 percent of the LGBT citizens.

Although they deserve equal rights, as we all do, it shouldn’t be at the risk of others losing theirs. Civil unions would have solved that. Marriage is a religious sacrament, not ever mentioned in our Constitution, and should not be a federal government ruling to redefine biblical text.

Invisible words “right of dignity” should not be dictated from on high and erroneously read into the Constitution. We used to be a nation of laws – not of judges!

Only a handful of states voted to recognize gay marriage, the circuit court judges overturned the will of the voters, with the stroke of a pen (sound familiar?). We are no longer a nation of the people, by the people and for the people.

When government fears the people, there is liberty. When people fear the government, there is tyranny. Every day, we wake in fear of what our government is doing to us!
