I would like to comment on the very misinformed letter by Virginia Zabella of Nov. 26, 2014, regarding management of Courtside Villas Homeowners Association.
The writer states VIP Property Management has not raised fees. However, the fact is they have raised their fees over 6 percent a year from 2005 until 2012. Perhaps the writer is new to Courtside Villas.
A motion was passed at the last meeting to take bids for our “management contract.” After some research on other management companies in the Valley with like neighborhoods, I would say Virginia Zabella must love VIP Property Management because she and all 118 homes in our neighborhood are paying one-third more a month to be managed by her friend.

According to Arizona law, the board should be seeking and reviewing all bids they receive. If at the next meeting they cannot show they have done their duty, by law, I hope we as a neighborhood replace those members who refuse to at least entertain new bids.
Whoever investigates HOA management and boards in the state should take a look at Courtside Villas. The homeowners of Courtside Villas have concluded that an investigation will be performed immediately.
Thanks to Ms. Zabella, if she had not written, I would never have spoken up.
