M&O Override

On Tuesday, Nov. 7, citizens of the Fountain Hills Unified School District No. 98 will be asked to vote on the re-authorization of its Maintenance and Operations override. The passing of this re-authorization is paramount for the continuation of the quality education that the District offers to the children and families of our town.

Since the legislature of Arizona has not funded education at the level it has promised over the past several years, this Maintenance and Operations override has become necessary for providing the financial resources needed to sustain programs, salaries and quality services for our community. This, in turn, supports the fine reputation our district has earned that attracts families to our town and allows us to benefit from a strong economy with appreciated real estate values.

With these thoughts in mind, please vote on Nov. 7, and vote “yes” for the reauthorization of the M&O override.
