The cost to design: the design fee will be in the range of 6 percent to 8 percent of the construction costs.
The cost to build: $10 million to $15 million plus overrides like the ones we are now experiencing on the Avenue of the Fountains construction!
These are just some of the basic costs to get an aquatic center built which serves 200,000 customers annually. The additional costs for the water needed to operate, maintaining the water lagoon, water slide, etc. would be unsustainable.
Remember how much it cost to repair the Fountain when it was leaking!? It will take more than a free pass to a water park to get the taxpayers to agree to this money hole.
