Monsoon storms forecasted for Fountain Hills

Cooler weather to follow

Monsoon activity is reported to pick up into the weekend.

Fountain Hills will see a drastic change in weather heading into next week as highs are expected to linger around 100 with monsoon activity expected.

The National Weather Service forecasts 20% chance of storms Friday night while Saturday’s high could reach 109 during the day with a 10% chance of rain that day and 50% at night.

Sunday, however, will be a high of 104 with 40% chance of rain during the day, then activity picking up to 70% at night.
