How ironic the Democratic Party will rise up a 21st-century Moses to lead them out of their self-induced ideological slavery. Pharaoh-bama expresses his reluctance to release the progressive slaves from his oppressive control. Hence, Moses summons political plagues to leverage power and control away from Pharaoh-bama’s rule. Will Moses be anointed to lead the political exodus or will the Democratic Party remain in slavery?
If Moses successfully liberates the party his next challenge will be to part the Red Sea, that is MAGA. If Moses gets past the Red Sea, he’ll lead his herd into the political desert for purification. Eventually a new cadre of realists will primary away the old stubborn guard. Old ways and talking points die hard; innovative ideas are the cleanser that sanitizes away group think.
Adding more irony to this peculiar prognostication is when Moses climbs up the “Hill” to convene with the kingmakers and receives commandments making faith, family and freedom the new talking points. Moses carries these commandments back to his flock to discover that during his brief absence the fanatical progressives have carved a jade idol to worship as their climate god. In a rage, Moses destroys the green idol and banishes the disloyal fanatics.
