Alan Magazine is an incumbent running for re-election to Fountain Hills Town Council. He is by far the most qualified candidate.

Alan served on the town council for four years, starting Dec. 4, 2014. Check his record. He opposed the lagoon, voted against Park Place, voted against wayfinding signs and voted against firing the town attorney. He served on the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission for over five years, the last year as chairman. Prior to moving to Fountain Hills in 2006 to “retire,” he served eight years on the board of supervisors of Fairfax County, Va.

Councilman Magazine received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1976. Alan loves our town and that’s why he decided to run for town council again. He has the experience, vision and leadership required to address the financial and growth challenges that our town will face in the near future.

As a councilman he was careful with our limited money, accountable, transparent, favored limited growth and has never accepted “dark money.”

This is a non-partisan election. Please join me in voting for the most qualified candidates, those who have worked in town government and strategic planning for extended periods, and avoid coalition candidates. Please vote to re-elect Alan Magazine.
