Motorcycles, hot rods coming Oct. 24

American Legion Riders Chapter 58 is gearing up for its sixth annual Bike and Hot Rod Show.
It will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, at the legion post, 16837 E. Parkview Avenue.
Registration will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 noon; cost is $15 per bike or hot rod.
First, second and best in show trophies will be awarded for bikes as voted by judges along with a trophy for people’s choice in hot rods based on all entries.
Judging will take place at 3 p.m. followed by the trophy presentations.
Judging will be done by celebrity judge Robert Shinn, owner/operator of Evil Twin Custom Motorcycles in Mesa, and his staff of celebrity judges that include bike and hot rod builders and experts.

Live bands and music will be featured from 9 a.m. to at least 8 p.m.; food and beverage drink specials throughout the day; raffles and 50/50 drawings throughout the day.
A bikini bike wash will be available as well.
