Last Saturday night the Community Center was humming with excitement and laughter as about 300 people enjoyed the 10th annual Italian Dinner to benefit the River of Time Museum.
The success happened because so many dedicated volunteers entered in to make it so – several of you taking on many duties. My sincere thanks to Noreen Kurdzialek, Anne Wicklund and Lorena Wigginton for handling all the money. To Leah Bushman and Anna Myhr who did an amazing job as bartenders. To our Museum Board members who acquired the many items for the auctions.
To Niobe and Teena Borman who collected and sold tickets to the event. To Bill Pape, Bill Kulekowskis and Lorena who collected over $1400 in 50/50 money. To Vicki Thompson who chaired the decoration committee and her husband Joe who came with his tool kit and put together a patio swing.

To Gerard Bisceglia and Robert Vonderthaar who monitored the bar and food table to make sure there was enough of everything. To Kurt Pare’ and Lee Robinson who canvassed the audience for new museum members. To John Hepburn who took wonderful photos. To our fantastic auctioneer, State Representative John Kavanagh, who kept the crowd laughing as he rounded up buyers.
And to all those who helped move all the items to the Community Center, set up the event, took everything down and ran errands – without you the event just couldn’t have happened. I’m referring to Tony Bashe’, Lisa Poll, Debbie Cone, Ellie Kiewel, Dave Luppes, Fran Intervallo, Gerry and Marge Colbert, Gail Pape, Joan Schrempp, JoAnne Collins, Jane Robinson, Pauline Mortimer, Sandy Myhr, Suzie McCready and Walt Dunne.
And special thanks to Rino Ghetti who always makes it a pleasure to hold a function in his building!
