The latest play for the Fountain Hills Theater is “Night Watch,” which will play through Oct. 19.
Variety is surely the spice of life. Last month we had singing, dancing cats; this month we have a thriller mystery.
Written by Lucille Fletcherr, directed by Peter J. Hill and produced by Noel Irick, this one will keep you guessing. This is the same playwright who gave us “Sorry, Wrong Number,” who anyone over the age of 50 might remember with Barbara Stanwyck in black and white on the big screen.

Without giving too much away….Elaine Wheeler played by Amy Serafin, in the vein of “Rear Window,” thinks she sees a murder from her posh apartment window, but does she really? And does anyone believe her, including the police? Well, therein lies the story.
Others in the cast include Matthew Cary, as her husband, Aimee Gajate as her best friend and a delightful Mark Burkett as Curtis Appleby, her inquisitive neighbor. The cast is rounded out by the marvelous Diane Senffner, Joy Bingham Strimple, Tom Vinopal, Matt Mcdonald and J.P. Clemente.
Let’s just say, this one will keep you guessing and there are clues everywhere…just look and listen. Our heroine, Elaine, has lots of money and lots of secrets and is headed for Switzerland -- or is she? Call the theater for tickets at 837-9661.
Don’t forget to save the date of Sunday, Nov. 30, for the Fundraiser for the Fountain Hills Theater at the private town of Gunsight Pass. The fundraiser includes BBQ buffet, live band for dancing, outlaws, singers, roping demonstrations and saloon girls. They are limited to 100 supporters, so call early to RSVP, (480) 837-9661.
