The L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum was bursting with fun last week.
The Time Travelers Camp introduced children in third to fifth grades to four different worlds. The seven children explored geology, history, natural history and astronomy.
According to museum Executive Director Cherie Koss, participants enjoyed each day of the program.
“They were so engaged in everything they did,” she said. “We hope to do this again. It is a great program.”
The sessions were taught by museum adult docents, who were assisted by trained museum “Time Traveler” high school students.
The River of Time Museum is located at 12901 N. LaMontana Drive. Summer hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
