Museum dinner

What a wonderful Italian Dinner sponsored by the River of Time Museum Aug. 12. Although I lost out on a number of items in the live auction bidding, I enjoyed the event and the excellent and entertaining auctioneering by Senator John Kavanagh.

I want to express my thanks to all who donated items for the silent or the live auction. Such a large selection of items it was hard to limit the number of bids I could place and I am happy that not all my bids were the highest – I could not afford it if I had won everything I bid on. I got some bargains that I will make good use of.

And thanks to Phil Rodakis for the food and to all the staff and volunteers of the museum for the great evening. As soon as I know the date for next year’s event, it will go on my calendar.
