Museum dinner fundraiser at Community Center Saturday
A few tickets remain for the annual River of Time Museum Italian fundraising dinner to be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, in the Community Center.
Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance and $25 at the door. They are available in the museum store, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; or various businesses around town including Fountain Fashions, Sami Fine Jewelry, Euro Pizza, Brooklyn Bedding and the Fountain Hills Times offices.
Tables can be reserved at no additional cost by calling the museum office at 480-837-2612.

A few tickets remain for the annual River of Time Museum Italian fundraising dinner to be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, in the Community Center.

Phil’s Filling Station will provide the meal of penne pasta in garlic sauce, meatballs in marinara sauce, chicken cacciatore, salad and dessert.
Dinner is followed by a free drawing for $100, a 50/50 drawing (usually in excess of $600) and the main event, a live auction.
The silent and live auctions will feature a wide range of offerings.
Governor Doug Ducey has agreed to meet with the lucky bidder of a photo opportunity with him.
Among the other items are a helicopter flight to the Four Peaks Mine, a mattress set, two different resort experiences, multiple wine parties complete with wine and liquor baskets; 11 golf packages, cruises on Saguaro Lake, Canyon Lake and Salt River; a tour of the state Capitol and lunch with State Sen. John Kavanagh, and multiple certificates for pampering, cleaning, home improvement, car maintenance and local restaurant dining.
New businesses joining the list of donors last week were Arizona Home Watch and Cleaning, Arrivederci Cucina Italiana, Bashas’, Buffalo Bill’s Tavern & Grill in Show Low, Copy Express, Fountain View Village, Jazzercise, Mayor Linda Kavanagh, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Patel Wellness & Spa, Pied Piper Pest Control LLC, Raymond James Investment, Safeway, Starbucks, Children’s Museum of Phoenix, and the Rim Country Museum and Zane Grey Cabin.
