More than 80 members of the Lower Verde River Valley Museum and Historical Society elected two new directors at the Nov. 14 annual meeting.

New to the board are Brent Cruikshank, publisher of the “Fountain Hills Times”, and Barbara Hansen, medical administrator for Mesa dermatologist Dr. Ronald Glick.

Cruikshank was a member of the first Fountain Hills High School graduating class. He studied photography in New York City and later obtained a business degree from the University of Phoenix.

He is the son of L. Alan Cruikshank, founder and namesake of The River of Time Museum. He and his wife, Gina, live in town.

Hansen and her husband, Fred, have been residents and active volunteers for more than 30 years in town.

She is the co-founder of Four Peaks Women’s Club. She is current president of the River of Time Foundation Board and is the chairperson of the annual Hall of Fame dinner.

Hansen graduated summa cum laude from Western Michigan University and has worked as a medical administrator for more than 50 years.

Re-elected to their second, three-year term were Gerard Bisceglia, Pat Isaacson, Jean Linzer, Debbie Skehen, Bob Wilson and current Board President Gerry Colbert.

A minor change in the bylaws was approved to better define the starting terms for board directors.
