It’s been a busy time at the River of Time Museum.
We had terrific time participating in the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Fort McDowell had their beautiful team all groomed and so well mannered. Chamber judges gave us first place! Greg and Brigit Watkins did super signs. Thanks Lisa Poll and everyone who helped.
For the holidays, the museum/library lobby is the place to be with our holiday mart.

Our two shifts have been filled by the most fantastic, eager and talented women known here in Fountain Hills; our store, diplomats, docents and friends have been so supportive.
Mark Creason, American Legion Sons commander, is volunteering for us, and Rosie Marso has been Mrs. Claus for 13 years!
Museum Director Tony Basche was the photographer extraordinaire and parents will be sent photographs by e-mail. The Theater loaned us their Santa chair. We were able to supply them with a Santa suit for their box office hit now playing.
Noon Kiwanian Ken Kubischta came over as Frosty. We were entertained by listening to keyboard and violin selections by Edith Roberts and Lois Mc.Elligott, both members of the Chamber Players.
Also on Dec. 7, Niobe and Teena Borman directed and prepared items for the bake sale with Joanne, one of our docents handling sales. Historical Society President Debbie Skehen and Marie James assisted both Friday and Saturday with the punch and cookie trays.
Cookies were received from our members, Four Peaks Women’s Club, Friends in the Hills, Fountain Hills Women’s Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
The Auxiliary has been generous each year by designating our museum as part of their community charitable donations.
The Holiday Mart will continue to receive items and sell tentatively until Friday, Dec. 21, 4 p.m. Volunteers needed for Saturday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m.
